American Baptist Women's Ministries

American Baptist Women’s Ministries is an organization for women, established for the purpose of serving the Lord through aid to missionaries on the foreign and national fields

Currently,MCBC consists of a small group of women who give money through two programs – White Cross and Love Gift and make lap robes and quilts to be donated to local ministries e.g. Gospel Rescue Mission and Faith House.

WhiteCross is a program providing requested supplies to aid overseas and nationalmissionaries in sharing the Gospel with the people among whom theywork.

LoveGift is an 'over and above’ gift to benefit various ABC ministries and agencies e.g. Camp Arrah Wanna in Oregon and ABW women in ministry around the country.

We also collect Campbell Soup UPC codes for certain community centers and Indian schools.

The fourth Thursday each month, except July, we meet at 9:30am to work on lap robes and quilts, cutting fabric pieces, arranging them in patterns, sometimes sewing and conduct any necessary business. At noon we break for a potluck lunch, frequently followed by another hour of work.

We invite any woman interested in sharing with us to join. If sewing does not interest you, there is cutting or laying out fabric pieces to make lap robe or quilt; even cutting UPC codes from can labels..
